Jake GermanHead Coach & Owner

Jake began coaching because he passionately believes in the life-changing benefits of functional fitness. His goal as a fitness coach is to inspire individuals to make long-term lifestyle changes, and he has found that CrossFit’s scalable intensity and commitment to functional movement makes it the perfect program for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Jake believes that the psychology of sport and fitness training plays a vital role in the success of any program. He fosters a positive training environment to help clients overcome self-doubt or perceived limitations to achieve their full potential.

Austin ReevesCoach & owner

  • CrossFit Level 1

While pursuing a professional golf career post-graduation, Austin got into CrossFit in 2012. His then fiance, now wife, took him to class and he instantly fell in love with, not only, the sport of CrossFit but the community that surrounds it.

Austin played a handful of sports throughout high school and college where he played on the Furman University golf team for 4 years. Austin was able to grow and strengthen his coaching skills as the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at Furman from 2013-2015. One of Austin’s best coaching attributes is learning how to coach each individual athlete, knowing everyone has their own individual style they prefer and will best respond to.

Austin is also an NCAA Division 1 Men’s basketball referee and uses CrossFit to help stay in shape to run up and down the court and get into position to make calls (correct calls of course!)

Grace GermanCoach & Owner

  • CrossFit Level 1

Grace signed up for CrossFit in 2013 and had no idea how that choice would impact her life, she was immediately hooked. The community, competitive atmosphere and healthy influences were all things she was looking for and didn’t realize that she needed. In 2015, she decided that she wanted to be even more involved and educated and decided to sign up to get her level 1 certification. 

As a previous competitive gymnast and Clemson cheerleader, the fear of “getting bulky” was real. It is probably one of the biggest reasons that females don’t think they should lift heavy or even try CrossFit. One of her goals as a CrossFit gym owner is to debunk that idea and show people the impact it can have on your health – both physically and mentally. 

Oh ya, that life choice also led her to meet and marry the love of her life and open a new business. Never know what life has in store. 

Ben hudginsCoach

  • CrossFit Level 1

Ben discovered CrossFit in 2015 while he was stationed in California training with the Marines. What began as a way to stay fit quickly turned into a passionate lifestyle for Ben. After seeing the positive mental and physical impact that CrossFit had on his own life, Ben decided that he wanted to be instrumental in sharing that impact with others and became a coach. 

Through carefully tailored programs that conform to each individual’s personal level of experience, Ben believes that CrossFit plays an important role in allowing people to live their lives to the fullest. Ben hopes that through CrossFit, he can help people of all ages achieve goals that once may have seemed unattainable.
